This seems very common on this subwoofer, can I just say to anyone suffering same fault, get in touch with the retailer you bought it off, EVEN if out of warranty, and quote the consumer rights act 2015: below, on a product as expensive as some of the LG soundbars you should be entitled to at least some money back as I was off currys, and they were no bother, if a bit slow.

The Consumer Rights Act 2015 makes it an implied term of the contract I have with canyon that goods be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality.
